Headaches are part of detox.I am a migraine sufferer...Gave up caffeine a 2 weeks ago headaches for a week...This week I started pre op diet of protein shakes,steamed veggie and fish and plenty of water...3 days before surgery all clear liquids...

I am finally approved ...revision surgery at 51!!!!! December 28th is the date.....yay!!!!

I used Jeanine Miles and we skyped ....wonderful.

Converting from lapband to bypass...my research...my lapband misery and damage to my esophagus and erosion ...Gerd...made it easy for me to know that cutting 85% of my stomach was not for me...I was initially going for the sleeve but for me bypass is a better option.....by the way my friend had the sleeve performed on her and her daughter 2 weeks apart and she is doing fantastic...everybody needs to do what they feel is right...and go with it.

There is something about Greek yogurt that is so beneficial...

I am revising from the band...pure misery ..Gerd and reflux so bypass for me.

My friend got the sleeve in August and she is a new person!!!So did her daughter ...they did it 2 weeks apart...Amazing!

Here is the kicker..,the insurance company is reviewing my case.Surgery set for Dec 28 .Pre admission testing on 23...still awaiting official approval.Ugh

Same here...and it is still hard..going on my 3rd day...headaches,body aches,tired...all withdrawal ...from starches and sugars

I am on soft food meaning 2 shakes,and steemed vegetable and a protein.I got some miso broth and boiled some fish and that was my evening meal. then all clear liquid for 3 days before surgery .

Cheap insurance companies,,,I need a revision and am awaiting approval to bypass.,,not interested in the sleeve at all.

I have had lapband since 2004 and nonstop problems.

I am awaiting revision.I have pains in my body and shoulders on the left side..,band has flipped and it is on its way to erosion....

I don't know but get that lap band out.I too am trying to get a bypass revision...lapband is pure misery...
