Why pink girl? Have you lost any weight at all? What complications have you had re: directly linked to lap band fail. Can you not get it removed? S I have had that lapband since 2004....lost 35 pounds and struggled ,vomit,sliming,involuntary bulimic,slippage,port pain,esophagus damage,slippage,erosion....Gerd...I can keep going..finally revised to the bypass ...just had surgery December 28,....I am post op...sore and yet I feel so much better already....They should stop performing lapbands...so many are having them removed ....You will see...

I am 8days post op band to bypass ....will let you know...so far so good!

No go...just went to my first post op dr appt and he said no...not until next week.He gave me a note that says that I should have shorter workdays for another 2 weeks....otherwise coming along ok... Sore but everyday gets better....the glue is starting to fall off incision areas...but I have scars....ugh

Be thankful at my doctors office one of the nurses was so upset....her sister who jumped through all the hoops only to not make the January 1 deadline....Her employer changed insurance ...and this new insurance will not cover WLS....end of story....

Oh boy....I am early on post op but had a lot of scar tissue....so a gastro doctor was able to diagnose this...not the surgeon? Ugh? What type of surgery would correct this?

I have PCOS.....I gotta get some of this...discontinued my metformin.8 days post op...

Don't engage...it is the first of the year everyone is dieting and exercise...New Years resolutions....weight watchers ,Oprah,Jenny Craig,Gyms.....Paleo,Vegetarian,Reducing carb...not too much info...

Not sure about that..,I put on weight during my lapband waiting to be approved....because I could only eat slider foods....please make sure your doctors/nutritionist make a note that you are throwing up and can't keep a lot of food down....dependent on soft foods...inconsistent eating habits because of Gerd,slime and vomit episodes....make them notate this Everytime you see one.My NUT was great she didn't put pressure on me...because she understood...I had one NUT prior that didn't understand my woes...,handed me a diet chart and a measuring cup....I saw her once and that was it....How do you expect me to keep to a plan when You sometimes can't eat for hours... when you are able ...you have missed meals and want to eat the kitchen sink! You can't stick to a set diet plan because the band won't let you.....

I am 8 days post op....I keep telling myself patience.....

Take a photo this same time next year with your skinny little batman!You two will look like twins because you will be the same size.Congratulations you are on your way!
