Hi bornthisway, I am telling you, you will not regret it! It is so much better than gbp or the band. I too was worried. You wouldn't be human if you didn't. Just follow your doctor's instructions and you'll be fine.

I know exactly how you feel. I felt the same exact way. I originally had the lap band. That was a total mistake. It slipped and I decided to do the sleeve. It is the only thing that has worked for me! I never did reach my goal of 175 but I am totally okay with where I am at 215. I was 305. I will be honest with you...the first month after surgery is not easy but I promise you, it will get much better. The only real issue that I have is heart burn. I have to take medication for it and I don't absorb iron well and have to go for iron infusions but I would do it again in a heart beat! I can live with those side effects as a trade off rather than being over 300 lbs any day!
