Hi, I'm Kynita. Had surgery on 9/16/2015. Almost 10 weeks out. I have lost a total of 74.3 lbs. 34 since surgery.

I opted to stay in the states for mine. I payed quite a bit more but being a single mom with two boys, I needed to make sure I had the extra post op support closer. I'm in Tulsa, OK and Dr. Christopher Cole, MD performed my surgery. It has been an awesome experience. It is also nice to be able to call my surgeons office and go in when I need too. Feels good to know that he is here and knows exactly what he did to me. I have friends on YouTube that I follow who have had great success too having gone to Mexico. I'm in Tulsa, OK. And cash pay is $15,700 for me. I was financed through www.prosper.com. Not sure if any of you knew that there is an option to have your physician refer you to a non-profit that provides grants to pay for weight loss surgery. They offer about 15 grants per year. I had already started my journey when I found out.

I should be scheduled sometime in mid September! I am super excited and have watched lots of YouTube videos too. In fact I'm blogging my own journey. A Voluptuously Skinny Journey. I can't wait to hear how everyone else's journey is going.
