    I'm I failing already!

I appreciate how you feel. I was losing so much and now, I have been stuck. But I agree that my expectations were unrealistic. I'm trying to just exercise regularly and stick with my food plan. It will come off.

    Taking Medications

How soon after gastric sleeve were you allowed to start taking medications without crushing?

    Taking Medications

Thank you so much. I'm on a very small pain pill that I'm not taking but am using crushed short acting. But pain clinics aren't very happy about ordering meds early. (I have very severe back pain.) so I hope my doc sill let me restart it tomorrow. Thanks again for your help.

    4th day post op/any advice

I came home yesterday. Was in the hospital from Monday to Wednesday afternoon. I'm having pretty much the same experience you're having. Are you taking pain medication? Maybe the source of your spaciness. But also we've just had major surgery. Can also be the cause. And I have had no solid food for 2 weeks and only water and ice chips yesterday. Moving helps, too. I hope you start to feel like yourself soon.

    ANY AUGUST SLEEVERS

Panther, at the bariatric center where I'm going, there are some docs who do the liquids diet and some don't. I'm doing a clear liquid prep today for surgery tomorrow. Apparently my surgeon is the only one who requires that. (Lucky me).

    ANY AUGUST SLEEVERS

I am having my surgery tomorrow (Monday, Aug 3). Have been at this process since March. I'm excited but anxious, scared. I know I'll just live with what comes and I've never encountered anyone who said they were sorry they had the surgery. Just concerned about pain, nausea, etc. I know too much. I'm a nurse practitioner. LOL. Any tips will be appreciated.
