  1. @@treniasleevedlife I'm also 9 days post op sleeve. Everything is going really well. Still waiting to get this nasty iron taste out of my mouth. I hear it only lasts a couple days...well I'm on day 2 and it's 2 days too long. I'm also on some antibiotics that make my breath smell funkier than I don't know what. I seriously can't wait for the 2 weeks of taking those to be over with. But over all I can't complain too much. At this point is anyone else finding themselves taking random naps throughout the day. I get extremely tired and take an hour to 3hr naps and it's completely throwing off my schedule.
  2. @@ChunkyChocolate I would make a call to the office first thing tomorrow morning if it's continuing to get worse. They took mine today and my side is still sore.
  3. @ I think it just depends on the surgeon.
  4. Thanks @@Bigvic842!! I definitely don't regret the surgery I'm just having a minor setback today so now I have to force myself to rest in order to get back on track so I can get back into the gym. On the upside, I got eat soft foods today. That egg was so good!!! Finally felt full instead of bloated with liquids.
  5. @@Bigvic842 I been resting off and on all day. My JP Drain was causing some problems so I had it taken out early....now just recovering from all that. Almost feels like I have pneumonia.
  6. @@ChunkyChocolate I wasn't having any trouble until day 6 post op, I actually had to have it taken out a day early because it was irritating me so much. Hurt so bad I could barely walk and it was making all my muscles on my right side hurt just as bad as the same day I had surgery.
  7. That will have happen @@kvoneye with all the water weight from surgery.
  8. @@edie091371 I couldn't imagine recovering from surgery with fluid in my lungs. Did they have you start Albuterol or some other kind of steroid to help your lungs recover.
  9. @@kimvox66 I wear my binder over night and a couple hours throughout the day and I've had my 1st BM 4 days post op. Hope everything gets better for you soon.
  10. @@edie091371 Did you have the sleeve or the bypass? I had the sleeve so that might have something to do with why I can get down more at one time.
  11. Thanks @@edie091371, I'll have to get out this house and go buy one.
  12. @ I'm getting cabin fever and want to get out and go get some Christmas shopping done. Most of the gas is gone...thank god. Every day I'm getting back to normal. I've realized that I can actually drink 7oz at one time so getting my fluids is so much easier now. I've been working on the same 16oz of a PBFIT and Banana shake for the last hour. My first day home I was only measuring out 4oz at a time so getting fluids was really bad that day.
  13. Does anybody ever feel like their insides are shifting when you lay down? I'm a stomach sleeper so I have to compromise with laying on my sides and when I move from sleeping on my side to my back it feels like everything is shifting.
  14. @ I'm also 4 days out today and I want something soft so bad. Some canned tuna fish or scrambled eggs would be so great right now. Also it's really annoying making a full dinner for my 10yr old son who eats about as much as I do now and a separate shake/smoothie/broth for me.
  15. @@CHLOE12 I'm 2 days out and I have gas in my stomach and goes up to my chest...never down. I think I would prefer it if it did. Although I have found that that either walking or standing with both arms above my head helps clear it out. Now I actually get some fluids down without feeling nauseous.
