Great thanks OKC, day 5 down another 1.5lb only 6lbs to go before surgery day. Not as weak today. I am going to order isopure for after surgery because the shake that the dr suggested tastes horrible I mean bad I am pretty good at handling things that don't taste great that are good for you but these are horrendous. I went to a vitamin and protein store yesterday and their shake is pretty good he gave me a sample and it's really thin which I think will be better for post op. Great! They seem to lean towards the sleeve it seems because of the reduced risks post op but either way thank goodness we have these options and how much safer they are now then even 10 years ago. I will probably go with the SLEEVE if the doctor agrees.

So day 1 was the hardest because of the headache I recommend taking the day and just resting and sleep early, day two wasn't as bad day 3 was challenging I get to eat veggies which I didn't know, but then I slipped and ate veggies with plain rice bad bad bad didn't gain but that was bad today way better two shakes down. Organic Green tea is required 4 cups a day so all these liquids keep you close to the wash room lol

August 11th sleeve Tijuana I can't believe it's only 10 days away! I have 8 lbs more to lose. Must stick to liquids and veggies for 10 more days 4 down woot woot! I wish I had known about Cancun that sounds awesome! Good luck on your surgery! I am excited for all the August people. It starts tomorrow. I am not till the 25th so most will be done before then. How's it going on your first day? wow! 10 lbs congrats to him! Excited for you too!

My close friend had it done through Kaiser and it was six months of appointments with drs, therapist evaluation, nutritionist with diet and exercise plan and she said at first she was so upset because she wanted the surgery right away but then she realized it was the best tool they gave her to help her through surgery and then post op, she is doing amazing and she highly recommends the program she says really it's essential as annoying as it is in the beginning, the support groups is what she really enjoyed and making new friends that relate, she is a pound away from her goal weight in 8 months! So walk through it with kaiser I wish I had kaiser. She's in San Diego.

how's your post op going?

there is insurance for medical tourism for after surgery but I'm lucky because I live in San Diego and have access to Dr Ortiz within 45 minutes non emergency

thanks for information I looked into global, I also just found out since I live in San Diego any problems with surgery I can go back to them so I'm feeling much better about it they have been very helpful Dr Ortiz's staff has been great!
