Hello I am excited I have found a great support group on line that I can relate to. I got weight loss surgery because I have always struggled with weight since I was a child and about 5 years ago my mother passed away from diabetes and I was borderline diabetic with high blood pressure and I did not want to end my life early like my mother she was 54 when she died. I had surgery in March of 2015 and I am very happy way more happier than I was and that feels so good, I am not going to lie I miss my old friends (junk food) but I do not regret my decision because now I have more energy and hope for a better future. I hope to gain knowledge and support from others in my same situation and look forward to meeting new people that could help me or I them.
