It seems my doctor is totally different from what I've read about others... No preop dieting and he told me wants I get to the regular food phase that he wants me to eat whatever I want up to 800 calories a day and no eating yogurt and protein shakes after the liquid phase? -

And reading some of these boards scare me lol!!! I mean one has had the band for a year and lost only 17 Pounds and the complaints about being hungry all the time.. Ooh I'm scared lol Are any of you all on Facebook? Would you want to be friends? Lol!!! -

I've not told many people either. I know this is going to sound nuts but I'm kind of embarrassed about it? I think people seem to think its the "easy way out" I'm like ummm no.. This is going to be freaking hard!! Does that make sense? Lol!! -

Approvals with BCBS Federal

I have bcbs federal, they required a psyche evaluation, 3 months of records from doctor showing I tried to lose weight and nutrition evaluation. I have sleep apnea and diabetic and they approved mine in a week. Getting lap band next Thursday:) -

My doctor told me to take milk of magnesia he said it will become my best friend from now on. He said that it will help get rid of the gas and also help with the constipation. Are you having to do a pre-surgery diet? I'm not and it seems everyone else is lol!! I go for me pre-op and nutrition class on Friday. -

August 6th is my surgery date. I am the same way, scared and excited all at the same time!!
