Hello,
My name is Cheryl Snavely and I am married with three grown sons and 6 grandchildren!
At the age of 56 and top weight of 241, I had decided enough was enough! I was not comfortable in my skin and had not been for some time.
After one of my co-workers had the surgery and several friends and acquaintances' had it with no problems, I decided it was my time.
Choosing to go to Tijuana and letting Dr Almanza perform my surgery, turned out not to be the best choice for me though. After 12 hours post op and losing a lot of blood, they had to take me back into surgery at 10:00 pm to cauterize an artery that had been cut in my abdominal wall.
I am now post-op two weeks and still very weak, but I am taking lots of vitamins and iron supplements to help regain strength and rebuild red blood cells.
