Any August Sleevers?
englandgirlsleever replied to DrewzWife's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I didn't mean to seem harsh in any shape or form by the way! All I meant was be doing it for the right reasons! I've read lots of story's where people have cheated and it been fine, but I didn't cheat once and still had to have extra incisions as liver was heavy! Just think of it has a great opportunity to start over with your body and start it now, it gets harder before it gets easier! Just think positive ???? -

Sorry if I sound blunt but.. Why are you even having the surgery then? It's not just 7-14 days liquid diet and then tadaaaar magic happen! It's a life long commitment, especially as I can see your now having a bypass! You really need to think whether you're doing the right thing. You have to be 100% for it at this stage or you seriously will have psychological problems along the line! -

It gets easier, you'll get the odd craving now and then and hunger calls but it's all worth it! I'm now 8 day post op and it's the best decision I ever made! Good luck! ???? -
I need some reassurance, I had surgery on the 7th and due to leave hospital today, although throughout the night my arms have felt so numb, heavy, swollen and also on fire! Has anyone else felt like this? I told the nurse looking after me yet she just said I'm strange and my arms shouldn't feel like it, anyone give me some advice?

They believe it's just allergies, but I don't have any known allergies and how can it be on both arms, they don't feel as weak now but still are on fire! Everyone seems clueless -

Gosh you have done so well! Well done! ????I only hope I feel the way you do afterwards! Everyone says don't lose your 'sparkle' and I know in myself I won't but all you want is that support around you which I can't find! Thank you for your reply!

I'm scheduled for 7th Aug! I'm so excited but hate telling people I'm having my surgery. Everyone is so negative about it, most people believe I don't need it and I'm too young. I'm 21, 244lbs and 5ft7 and self paid. It's so hard to help others understand how I feel about myself when nobody wants to listen, has anyone else been in this boat? I'm on jelly and clear soup diet and my 1st day has gone great ????x
