I am from Whitsundays Queensland I have had lap band removed and am waiting 3 months then having VSG done

I was banded first in 2004, small lap band lost 26 kilos. By 2010 it was embedded in my stomach, because of having to much fluid in it. I had reflux, heart burn and GORD. Had operation to replace this small lap band with a bigger lap band, which was ok but no significant weight loss, if I didn't have enough fluid in it, was useless, if I had too much fluid in it then reflux heart burn came back. Last year the bottom of my osophagus split (very painful) the band was emptied of fluid. I decided to have the band taken out and I am now waiting three months to have VSG done.

I have 30 kilos to loose. Have been accepted for gastric sleeve surgery. Have to wait until il March as I have just had surgery to remove lap band

Hi, just new to this group. I have had a lap band for 11 years, I have decided to have a gastric sleeve procedure to replace the band as I have had a few problems with the band. In November I am having the band removed. And hopefully 3 months after that I can have the sleeve procedure done. Would like to know if anyone else has been down this road. I would like to loose another 25 kilos ????????????☺️

Hi I am from North Queensland, have had lap band for over 10 years, I will be having it removed in November and hopefully replaced with gastric sleeve 3 months later. Has anyone else been down this road
