I definitely felt better 6 months out. The big thing for me is rmembering to eat protein first then veggies then fruits. Protein for energy is key. After a year I still have a hard time with energy if I don't eat correctly but really, with the weight I have lost and how much better I feel overall it is a small price to pay. My entire life is different now, including how I eat. I always try and remember that the surgery just decreased the amount I can eat at a time. I still had to deal with my food issues. I hope things improve for you and that you are happy with where you are at.
