    LOSING TOO MUCH WEIGHT!

    Wish I could just lose!!!!
  3. I was sleeved on 8/4/15 and I am very happy I did it, but having a few issues. One week out I can only keep down Water. I have a problem with crushing pills. I was taking kiddie Tylenol for pain, it's extra sweet and thick and I can't believe that kids take this (I stopped taking it). I have "spit up" or " vomited" a total of 3 times in one week on things other than water. And I have intense diarrhea (sorry TMI) So... I called my doc and his office is all cool like everything is ok that's normal... I am sorta confused... I am going for my one week check up today and I will give him an earful. HW: 320 SW: 278 CW: 266
  4. Oh as far as the pre-op diet, my surgeon has his patients drink a bottle of magnesium citrate to clear your tummy out!
  5. My surgery is tomorrow too!!!!! I go in at 5:30a!!! I am so excited! Yay us!!!!!!!! As far as packing, I have a gown, some very loose fitting lounge shorts, a t-shirt and flip flops. I of course packed my basic toiletries. My phone charger, phone, my journal, and my shaker bottle. My husband was sleeved on 7/28/15 and he pretty much had the same minus the gown (lol). He wore what he wore to the hospital home which I plan to do as well. My husband is already down 11 pounds!!!!!!!!!!! So I am ready! Good luck to you, I look forward to following up with you post-op.
  6. Hey! I'm due to be sleeved on August 4th!!!! I am soooooo excited! My husband was sleeved on July 28th and he is doing great already lost 10lbs since his surgery!!!!!
  7. My surgery isn't until 8/4/15 but my husband was sleeved today 7/28/15 What I know: -Def. have a close friend or relative at the hospital wait for you after surgery. -there will probably be a catheter... My husband hated his. It was positioned the wrong way and caused him some major discomfort. -my husband was more concerned about the discomfort of the catheter to really pay attention to his abdominal pain. He mentioned he was scared to move but he wanted to walk. - WALK WALK WALK. This helped him so much along with burping to release the gas. -bring a blanket. It is freeeeezzzing cold and their blankets suck. A robe is a good idea too. -speak up. Since everyone is different and as well as every doctor/surgeon, it is best to speak up about anything that is bothering you. That doctor may have a certain practice for your ailments and provide relief sooner than later. No need to endure unnecessary pain and discomfort. That's all for know. I can add more later from my husband's experience and even more after I actually have surgery. Best of luck to all! -

Pre op and post op shopping

Isopure is also at GNC. The purple color is good.
  9. So I don't smoke pot and I never have. But I think that the purpose of this post was not for people to ridicule her. It's a simple question to those who have experience with wls and weed... I clicked to read because it was a interesting topic. I see it this way, the desire to smoke weed it's not different than another person who has been sleeved wanting to eat junk food. Both may not be great choices but bottom line it's their CHOICE what they do with their body. So even though I am technically not qualified to answer this question based on experience, I think you should evaluate the possible consequences of your choices and determine if you are willing to deal.
