Are you suppose to have protein in every meal, like including between meals also like just liquid....if so that might be it? 3 meals 3-4 drink periods between = 60-70g if u have 10g everytime.

I have the same fears. Right now I'm only concerned about waking up and waking up in manageable pain. I dont wanna wake up screaming in discomfort. I'm doing ok with it for now but I know when I'm in ur shoes ill be freaking out as well. Just breathe and realize how many of these great people have done what youre going to do and they made it ???? personally I'm jealous lol I dont wanna wait till January. Get some sleep and know this is your last day of the old you ???? my kids and I will pray for you for fast recovery ❤

Mines the same way and honestly u cant blame them. They're obviously with us because were good people on the inside and it takes a real man to see past our weight but now that were gonna have a body to match our personality they're gonna worry every other man out there is gonna come around and see what they didn't before. They're gonna feel intimidated and can get depressed as well but its our job to make them know and feel that we truly do love them and only them. That no one can take their place. If the shoes were reversed we'd be the same way.

@@Bufflehead -thank you, I actually did a bunch of searching already and found a lot that are high in protein that I wouldn't mind trying that are at WalMart and sams club. I brought it up today and she said I have to stick to the ones on the paper she gave me which were all an arm and a leg in price.

I'm 5'4" and 226 lbs, I was a little shocked to hear only 11 lbs. She did say insurance usually requires you to lose 5-10% of your body weight so you can actually figure it up yourself but I wouldnt start dieting till AFTER your appt. I weighed 228 and started cutting back to jump start it and I weighed in 226 so they calculated off of that and losing weight for me is hard (hence why I'm here) so the 2 lbs I lost got tossed in the wind ????

Are the protein powders expensive? My NUT told me today we can only use certain ones and she said they're expensive.....im a low income family so now I feel like I not meant to have this surgery because I dont have a lot of money, but I shouldn't be stuck unhealthy and unhappy because I'm not rich.....

My NUT said that today at my appt. Our liver lays partially in front of our stomach so the smaller it is the easier it'll be for them to reach our stomach. She put me on an 1800 cal diet and wants me to lose 11 lbs by January.

My mom, gram, and bf are the only three that know I'm doing this. Why give people the opportunity to bring us down, right? I'd rather stay quiet and kill them with my results from my "low carb high protein diet".

For my height and frame 125-130 is my goal. I haven't ever been lower than 185 since I've been an adult. I'll be doing my happy dance at 179 lol

I haven't had one of those scheduled yet. He did mention he wanted me to have a sleeping disorder test also and xrays. I got my paperwork today for orders at the hospital...18 tests ordered.

Lol no there's a few of us that are late to bloom also ???? have any of you done your EGD yet? Mine is scheduled for Sept 10th.

How about stairs? Are they hard to handle? My living room is downstairs and my bathroom is upstairs.

@@SoCalLeslie, I got all my orders today and my surgery isn't till Jan 16'. Will I be getting blood work every week? Or just closer to surgery?
