    Went to the dr today for my follow up and he said the average most people can eat is 4-8oz. I'm 6 days post op and am around 4oz per meal of full liquids myself... He said as the swelling of the stomach goes down (up to week 8 i think he said), you can start taking in a little more over time

    I was super dehydrated the evening after surgery. They gave me an extra IV of fluid. I felt way better and pee'd shortly after. I hate getting a catheter, so this worked before going to that step.
