Lime I said I had a coffee a week out and still do. Half caf most days. Not in protocol but I just had to. I still have gard time with fluids 2 months out. Just be patient. Take a Tylenol for your headache and walking does help. Its a hard adjustment to sip sip sip. Hate that part. ☺☺

I \m 2 months post op and still struggle to get my 60-70 grams of Protein in. Premier Protein drinks are my savior. I don't always get all it in but try hard and just had tests done and all is well with me.

No desire to eat
lealor replied to Heather Feather's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
HUH? 2 days post op????eat anything??? omg I didn't eat anything for 2 weeks post op. you are suppose to be on just liquids, gradually to pureed then mashed no solid foods for 4 weeks, I am confused? I still have just Soup (half cup) for lunch and or scrambled egg |||( half an egg) for supper I just have my Protein shakes as my staple, greek yogurt....pureed chicken and veggies. Liquids and Protein drinks are your priority and its hard to get that down for first 2 weeks. -

Dangerous Diet Tip #4: Salads: Your Weight Loss Staple.
lealor replied to Elizabeth Anderson RD's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
Such an amazing article. Very good, Thanks so much. I am wondering when I| can eat salad? Its been over 2 months and to be honest I crave a salad ( go figure)!!!! I tried a few bites last week and it hurt my pouch. Any info would be so appreciated. -
Wow, what an amazing group of people you all are, even some men in here with their opinions on a break up, I am so happy to be part of this community. Now I will say the same to you my dear gpmed. Life happens I have found out, regardless of our bariatric surgery. My husband just had a tumor removed from his knee and I have had a very hard time with my recovery for 2 months from my surgery. He gets 60 % of his wages......we are struggling. Its been hard. Im not happy with my relationship, disappointed from no support from friends and family and feel quite alone all around. I think these responses are great and of course you will hurt from this break up. But everything happens for a reason, and life happens for a reason. Be strong, think of you, rest, walk, breathe.....cry.....walk more. This too shall pass my friend.............

Vitamin powdered supplements? Other advice ?
lealor posted a topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
Hi I need advice on powdered Vitamin supplements that you can add to Water or liquids. I cannot take any more pills and am not getting my fluids and Proteins in. Calcium is huge pills I bought and then I got liquid calcium and it tastes like chalk, I gagged on it. I've been in emerg twice in 2 months since surgery with dehydration. I can eat now little bits of food so Im good with that but am really need Vitamins. Sometyhing I can add to fluids. Thanks `-) -
I'm 2 months out and haven't started really working out. I walk every day and alot at work. My skin is sagging all ready. I don't feel like it yet, maybe because I had a very rough recovery, I feel overwhelmed for some reason! soooo true about the all or nothing attitude for me. I think if »I can just get to the gym 3 times a week for strength training ( not 6 or 7) ...........when did you all get the work out bug

9 months out from VSG and so disappointed in myself! HELP!

@@Inner Surfer Girl great advice!!! We are all human. First thing to change is to accept you have to make a change. Tomorrow is a new day. If we keep stuck in our mistakes, then we don't move foreward., I felt like that the past 2 years and kept getting fatter and fatter, guilt keeps us stuck... ( yes I am reading this myself for myself too) .:-) -

I think we should just stay on plan.....and wait one month to weigh ourselves!!! Ya right ...I've been on the scale 4 times a day..lol. I just wish I could get my fluids and protein in. I'm getting weak again. Uggggg -
I cant believe how , my shoping aholic tendencies have stopped like most of the food I try to eat...lol I have so many clothes right now and maybe 2 sizes smaller. I have lost 28 pounds total now and have no no no desire to buy anything. My pants are big but Im wearing a belt. I think I bought so many clothes this past 2 years because I was feeling they could help me feel better when I was feeling so crappy with my weight. I need to wear all these things until they all literally fall off of me. It will be weird to shop at normal woman's clothing stores, that kind of scares me a little.
