    9 days out, 8 oz of soup?

    It does get better when you start eating more solid foods. I just tell myself that even though I am able to take in more than a lot of people in the beginning it's still like 1/4 or even 1/8 or what I used to eat. I'm hoping I just healed quickly and the swelling went down faster than most. Hang in there.

    Slowed weight loss

    I'm 10 days out, 13 down as well. I started with a higher bmi so I say your doing great. It is very easy to get discouraged especially when you see other with huge weigh losses for the first week. I'm losing like oz a day now. I'd rather loose slow and steady than not loose at all though. Hang in there!!

    Thank you. I know you have said that before, the mental part of feeling like this isn't going to work and feeling hungry and low on calories starts to really mess with you.
  5. Is anyone else able to do 8 oz of soup or anything? I just had no problem having 8 oz of soup and feel like I could of ate the whole can. I feel so hungry ...

    Hungry

    My plan is crazy. They want me to do three meals a day and three protein shakes?? Just seems like a lot of calories for the beginning. I find pudding to be super filling maybe try that?

    How many calories are you eating? I'm just curious bc I'm 6 days out and protein shakes are high in calories so I'm around 500 that just seems like so much.

    Help! Just had surgery...

    I'm 4 days out and feel so much better. I still have the muscle pain but don't even need pain meds for it anymore.

    Restriction post op!

    So I'm 4 days out and I don't really feel like I get full. If I do it passes very quickly. It takes me a long time to eat things because I'm scared of overeating. Today is my first day on full liquids and I've had 40 grams of protein which sounds like a lot for the first day eating protein?? I'm very nervous because after my surgery my surgeon said my stomach wasn't that big to begin with and he was worried about this being successful. I've been worried since then. Anyone with something similar.
