Me too on Thursday! A little scared but ready!

the consult went well, however, I'll need a cardiac risk assessment appt before getting a surgery date. Not sure how long that will be but I'm thinking it will throw me off the schedule for a few weeks at best. In the meantime, I'll continue doing the best I can to lose weight and exercise and learn about needed dietary changes. Oh and while I thought that I would get gastric bypass, the surgeon believes a sleeve surgery would be best for me, most likely based on my medical history and future needs. I'm good with that too! Hope your appt went well. Let me know.

I had a good appointment today. He wants to do an EGD to make sure band hasn't eroded. He's doing that Monday morning. He said he doesn't see why we can't do surgery on 12/14! Yikes! Good news is he is very confident that sleeve will be great for me. He said I will probably be near goal in a year.
