@ you are awsome. So your post op? 67lbs lighter? Did you go with bypass? Was recovery awful?

Lipstick lady did the bypass hurt was healing unbearable? Do you still feel weirdin your tummy of do you feel normal?

So yesterday I sprung on my husband that I wanted wls his response shocked me he said we will never go out to eat again!! What about dates?! How will you ever be normal? This is serious. I'm like what the f**k did you just say?! Are you serious. He tried to talk me out of it. He gave me worst case scenorios. He scared me. And now I'm lost why would he do such a thing?!

That's so true!!! My dr said they end up with a decent number of revisions. Bypass is the most common and heLPS the most with comorbities as I understand

@@SassyTassy thank you so much. I don't know why I'm so scared of the bypass I know it's what I need to do I feel like it's the gold standard of wls. But I'm scared of it. I'm a chicken. I hope I'm tough enough to make it thru.

@@wantingabetterlife how long have you been post op? What procedure did you have? At goal weight? I'm just trying to get a feel for what's going to happen.

Was bypass awful? I don't know why by its so scary to me. I started with wanting the lap and then knew it wasn't for me. My dr seems to think bypass. I was thinking sleeve. I don't know why bypass terrifies me. I want wls. I really do. I guess I don't know tons about it. Idk.

@@Babs seeing and going thru the bypass and the sleeve which one would you recommend? @@catwoman are you sleeved or bypass?

Thank you guys for responding! I don't have much support. I was at work so I couldn't respond. Everyone thinks I'm fine the way i am but I'm not I'm fat and tired I don't want to be this way anymore. I feel like because I am an attractive fat female people think it's ok to be fat. I hate it. I want to change so bad I tried pills diets excersise and nothing has worked. My husband ironically enough is a body builder completely opposite. I just think maybe he dosent understand my struggle. Maybe he thinks no one wants me now. Maybe he's scared I'll never be the same. But whatever the reason his unwillingness to help me get thru this and his negative attitude is making it that much harder for me. He's trying to scare me and hes doing a good job but I'm firm in my stance I want this. I just hope nothing happens to me. I want to be around for my son. I am researching like mad it's good and bad. I'm still so stuck between the sleeve and the gastric I was hoping that I could get a lil help from him deciding since I value his opinion. I guess I'm shit out of luck. My friend said I should lean on you guys. She said that no one knows how I feel or what I'm going thru like all of you. So although it's hard for me to open up to strangers here goes nothing. Desperation def gives you willingness.

Thanks guys what I'm starting to think is either one is better then not having one. I guess any thing in life has risks but it seems like there is way more rewards with these procedures. I guess it's just fear of the unknown. @@The Candidate I'm excited for you. Please keep us all updated I want inside info.

That's good advice. I like this sight I just found it today. I appreciate you sharing your experience with me. Are you excited about surgery? I feel like I'm nervous/anxious. My surgery is scheduled for Dec 2. Very far out so I have a long time to decide and lots of pre-surgery prep to do.
