    Irregular period

Totally normal. I was sleeved in June. Missed 3 months in Sept, Oct, Nov and now I started again and it's heavy! Also, during those three months I lost a lot of hair. My hair has stopped falling out finally. ???????? Good luck.

    Straws?

Can't live without my straws! Go for it!

    People Suck!

Sometimes people just blurt out the cruelest words. I have reached my goal weight and now all I get is...you're way too thin, "grotesquely" skinny, balding, a twig....really? I guess it will always be something. I take a deep breath and just smile. I really don't let it affect me anymore. You do your thing sister! ❤️

    Protein Problems

Try Fairlife little jugs. They have 19 grams of protein. And Unjury chicken noodle soup is awesome. Just broth...but so tasty.

Protein drinks make me want to hurl!

I can only stomach little jugs of Fairlife milk. They're delish!

    This Hair Loss is Horrific

Everyone I've talked with says there's really nothing you can do. I had tons of curly hair and I've lost a TON! Clumps every day. I was sleeved on June 25th. Was 200. Now 140. It's hormones. I haven't had a period in two months. My gyno said it should stop very soon. Doctor said my body is in shock and it's adjusting. I feel great and thin, but I'm going bald!!!! ☺️

    June 2015 sleevers

We were sleeved on the same day and I've lost 60% of my hair. I've been losing clumps since October. Hopefully it stops soon.

    Hair loss ?!?!?

I'm 5 months out and have been losing a lot of hair for 2 months. My doc says it's hormones. My periods are irregular too. I take biotin, maca (herb for hormones) and black currant (herb for hair loss). I figure I'll cover all my bases. I've heard nothing really helps and the hair loss should slow down or stop after 2-3 months. My hair is wispy and just funky. It comes out in clumps. I'm not stressing, but hoping it stops falling out soon. Good luck.

    Women monthly cycle

My periods have been irregular since I was sleeved in June. Actually, I've missed the last two. Saw my gyno Tues and he said totally normal after the sleeve. Even if you feel great, there's a lot of things going on in your body from months before. I'm just letting my body do its thing. Good luck.
  10. The lumps are lipomas. I have them on my trunk and thighs. They're little fat balls that you can feel under your skin once you lose weight. Totally harmless. ????
  11. A little Fairlife milk bottle...19 grams of protein. So good. 42 grams all at once is too much. Your body can't even process that. Unjury chicken noodle soup is really good.
  12. Fairlife. So good. Don't worry about fat free. More protein and no lactose.

    Dry Mouth

Biotine helps. My extreme dry mouth lasted about a month. Spry mints helped too throughout the night. It will get better. ????
  14. I am 5 mos out and can eat almost anything. I can eat a little slice of thin crust pizza. You'll find a few bites of your favs will satisfy you. Sweets don't even sound good to me now. I still love chip and dip. I eat like five chips and I'm done. It's so nice knowing you can't over indulge.

    What's the best protein bar?

I hate shakes and most bars. These two things save me. I've only seen these bars on QVC. They're delish. The Fairlife milk is like cream. Power Crunch bars are great too.

    Pressure/tightness under ribs

Dr. Naim in Costa Mesa. ????
  17. I'm 5 mos out and have noticed for a few months that when I sit for long periods of time, or even laying down or standing or driving, that I feel a pressure/tightness under both ribs. It's not painful. Does anyone feel this too? Is it a muscle thing?
  18. I am almost five months out and have lost 52lbs. I've noticed when I rub my body I feel lumps/balls/peas under my skin on my trunk and inner thighs. When I noticed a few on my ribs, I found a few posts on the internet and I think what I have are called lipomas...little fat balls that form when you lose weight rapidly. They don't hurt and you can't see them. I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed these??

    Little balls under skin

Yah, I'm glad I'm not alone!

    Hair Loss

At about 4 mos my hair has started falling out/shedding. Every day there is a huge clump of hair in the drain. I have a lot of curly hair, but it's thinner, a weird texture and wispy. I've read it's more about hormones than diet. I'm hoping it stops in 2 or 3 mos. ????

4 months post op and stalled

I'm 4 mos out and losing tons of hair and have stalled. Going back to drinking one bottle of Fairlife milk for a meal and really low carb meals. And I've read hair loss is normal at this stage and it'll stop in a few months. I'm down 47lbs so I'll be patient and trust the process. ♥️

    200 lbs sleevers

I was sleeved on June 25th 2015 and I was 200. Im 5'6. I am now 153. Some weeks I lost 3-5lbs and others 1, 2 or none. It's averaged out to about 12lbs a month. I want to be 140 and I'm not stressing. My doctor said the last 10 will come off slowly. ♥️

    June 2015 sleevers

I was sleeved on June 25th and have lost 47lbs. I was 200 and now I'm 153. Everything has gone smoothly. Starting to lose hair. Which I've read is normal. I've stalled a few times and gained a pound or two a few times. I sometimes feel a tightness under my right rib. Take regular a vitamin and a probiotic. Pooping is pretty good. Haven't had alcohol yet. Just water. No carbonation. First meal is just a few bites than I can eat more as the day goes on. Actually have to start watching my snacking at night. I'm taking it day by day. Love Fairlife milk. 19 grams of protein in a little bottle. Yummy! Best thing I've ever done!! ♥️

    water question

My doc said for some reason plain water is the hardest to get down...it's water nausea. I use flavor drops, put fruit in my water. Ice helps. A straw helps (for me). A 16 ounce water bottle takes me like 2 hrs to get down. I'm 10 wks out. Good luck. ❤️
  25. Yes! I got in 20-30 the first few wks. He wanted me to get 60. I might hit that now. I'm 10 wks out. Do your best. You'll be able to get in more as the wks go on. ❤️
