I had my sleeve done 4 days ago. I was already back in the ER with severe, extremely painful spasms. I have never felt anything like this in my life. Also I have horrible bloating and pressure in my upper abdomen. I am MISERABLE. My doctor initially recommended the bypass (due to my GERD), but I changed my mind and got the sleeve (due to my severe IBS and wasn't too crazy on the re-routing). Did I make a mistake? Will this pressure and spasms ever end?

Thank you both. Yes cream of wheat is allowed they said but very very thin consistency...which I watered it down pretty good.

They have me Bentyl but it's not helping. Even the pain medicine isn't helping. I mean the incision part is feeling better, it is the spasms that are killing me and feels like a severe belly ache.

I had my sleeve yesterday and I feel so sick from the bloating. It's very uncomfortable and it travels around my sides to my back. Aksi have nausea. Anyone else have this, and if so, what did you do?

Does anyone here have a high BMI? Mine is 50 currently. Just wondering how yoir procedure went? Also, my doctor preferred me to get the bypass, but I chose the sleeve. Is the weight loss really that much significantly less with the sleeve?

Hello. I am going on day 7 of my liquid diet. I am having horrible hunger pains. I am allowed 2 protein bars per day for snacks. I don't understand why something like a small amount of fat free cottage cheese wouldn't be permitted since it has protein, I don't understand what the difference is. I'm having a hard time with this. :-(

Hello. I am very scared. I don't like anesthesia, and I'm afraid of not being able to breathe well when I wake up. I also have frequent nausea, and I'm scared that this will enhance it. Also worried about how much pain I will be in. Any advice would be appreciated

I'm having a hard time with my liquid diet too. I'm calling the office tomorrow because I've had massive headaches that had me most bedridden over the weekend. Today I feel like I could pass out. I feel dizzy and weak. Yes I am keeping hydrated.

I agree on some levels. But that's why this for. Some of us need to vent our frustrations, complaints, whatever. I sometimes complain but end up doing it anyway. It's how I cope. The part about the coworkers is disgustingly true!! I can't STAND when a 125 pound woman says she needs to lose weight, or look at her muffin top, or she feels huge.............REALLY???? Ooh I just want to shut them up!

Hi all. I am looking for new bars to try. I'm going to try the Quest ones. I've tried Nugo slim and they taste horrible.
