420 pounds gone forever! This is my journey...
brandeett replied to Justin Wiseman's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Congratulations Justin!! You are such an inspiration!! And you look amazing! -
@@my_new_lifetime yes, very much better. Thank you :-)
-
That is something that I already know. And being at the beginning of this journey is not something that I prefer to hear. I'll go back to the other thread that says: you can do it, you're doing a great job. But thanks anyway
-
@@mini me that is a no brainer that maintaining is harder. My question was, what is the difference between the two.

Weight loss - does it pick up any faster?
brandeett replied to brandeett's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Thank you all -
Congratulations!

I'm not into the regular food phase yet, but I would say celery with some PB2, carrots, apples, and almonds. I have tried the ice chips as suggested above, and that is working for now (while at this phase).

@@Elode you're welcome. :-) And thank you for the explanation. I'm still kind of new so it may take me a while to know all of the terminology.

Hi all. I'm having trouble getting all of my protein in. I'm getting so bored with chicken breast. I don't care for turkey burgers, or any type of fish/tuna. Can someone please share an example of what they eat in a day? I'm still on the soft diet.
-
Congratulations Elode!!!!!!!!! I'm not familiar with NSV's....what does that mean?
-
What are the lower carb fruits that you eat, and how much per day? What lower carb vegetables do you eat?
-
Did anyone else have a high BMI? Mine was 51. Just wondering how you did with the weight loss?
-
^^^^ Congratulations to you ALL!! That is wonderful!
-
@ rusybel4ti....what powder do you add (to your yogurt)? Protein powder, like the one you make the shakes with?
-
@ Inner Surfer Girl, where do you purchase the ProtiDiet pudding?
-
@@Inner Surfer Girl thank you!! Do you have a carb limit you try to stay under? I'm worried about the carbs in like unsweetened applesauce, sugar free puddings, etc. Those are the things that most comfortably "go down" right now. Thr unsweetened applesauce has 12 carbs. It is kind of hard to steer clear of all carbs. I just don't want to jeopardize my diet.

You are very welcome! :-)

I felt the same exact way. Walk around as much as you can, and use Gas X. If you are nauseated, ask for a prescription for Zofran. And I hope you feel better soon. Sending hugs and prayers

@ lvlpar....You have nothing to apologize for. Congratulations on your weight loss!! :-)
-
LipstickLady...I would like to say that I find pretty much all of your comments to be supportive. That is what I need. So I thank you for being very kind and respectful

And no I'm not looking for "outs" or ways to cheat...and blah blah blah
-
That's another thing I've noticed here about people being judgemental. If a person asks will I ever be able to eat a piece of toast again....I've gotten responses such as "there's no nutritional value in toast". Okay....but that isn't what I asked! Just answer the question!!!! We are all here for the same reason
-
I don't think anyone is trying to find ways to cheat. A simple question was asked. Geez

Hi. My surgeon wants me to take Calcium Citrate D3 chewable "tablets" 500 mg (no gummies). I am having a very difficult time finding these types of combinations. Also I'd like a calorie free low carb tablet. I checked online everywhere and no luck. Where do you all find your calcium?

Thank you all so much for your kindness and support!
