i was sleeved on dec 11th. of course everyone is different, but i no longer have any soreness. i would say after 6 days soreness was totally gone. Drinking definitely gets better. i dont track as well as i should but i figure my Water intake is in the 60 oz range and about 75 grams of Protein. 3 days out it was probably half that. good luck we are sleeved a week apart.

trek 1200 i also felt like one of the smallest people at my seminar. i had a starting bmi of under 40 but i do have high blood pressure and sleep apnea so therefore my insurance covered my WLS after a six months of weight monitoring. i did it for me. i do eat out alot. im 46 with 3 kids. i have an active lifestyle and cant speak long term because i just had my WLS this past friday, but one thing i can tell you as that i'm looking forward to my new healthier lifestyle. its a big deciscion but this sight will have everything you are looking for to make an informed decision. i was tired of loosing and gainging the same 50 pounds back year after year so for me it was a no brainer. good luck. -
surgery date is 12-11. how soon after surgery were you able to go to the gym and lift weights. and did you feel weak from the lack of calories?

Paying with IRA/401K
on the fence 2 replied to Ginger1217's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
i am not sure if every 401k works the same, but i am able to borrow from mine and pay myself back weekly. without a penalty it comes out of my weekly check. -
just got my approval for surgery today, pre surgical testing tommorow and friday is my surgery. nervous but exited to get it over with and start my skinny and active life. i just want to thank everyone who posts on this sight for an education on what to expect before during and after surgery you have all been a wealth of knowledge.

ihave my date,so i'm starting to let family members know that im going to get sleeved.i think this is a mistake. instead of getting encouragement, i have o hear its not needed your not that big 5'9'' 260 i have gained and lost the same 40 pounds numerous times and never really been able to get to a healthy weight and can not keep it off for any extended period of time. high blood pressure and sleep apnea are also a problem. so instead of getting excited about this the doubts are starting to get into my head. i love food as im sure everyone here does or we wouldn't be having or had this surgery. so what im asking is do you ever regret having the surgery. men a would appreciate your honesty to this question. thanks in advance for your replies
