Hi, Shin splints- They are caused because you are stressing your muscle in the front part of your leg- and it seperates from the bone a bit. :confused: Yeah--not a good thing. Walking causes much less trama to the body. Believe it or not you burn the same amount of calories in a 1 mile brisk walk as you do with 1 mile of jogging. The only difference is the time it takes you to do it. If you insist on running. Get an ace bandage and wrap you shins snuggly (not too tight as to interupt circulation). It's like a miracle cure. Also remember to stretch well, Good Luck!!

D: 1/2 cup of Haddock with crab meat and some cauliflower Sun Brunch at Market Inn 1 sausage link, 4 bites of potatoe Au Gratin, small cup of crab soup (cream style), most of an eggs Benedict, 2 meatballs (small), and a PIECE of BREAD PUDDING!! I WAS TRYING TO BE GOOD---WAS THIS REAL BAD? :party: I WALKED 5 MILES after brunch :faint: Dinner: Salmon with steamed veggies

Thurs- 4 miles at the pond Sunday- 4 miles at the pond Today - 3 miles at the pond Tomorrow(tuesday)- taking the day off -no walking Wed- Will do 4 miles - Did my 4 miles Thursday Will do 4 miles - Got lazy did nothing Friday -off Saturday- 4 miles - Raining did 2.5 miles at 2% incline (was harder to do than the 4 miles) :faint: Sunday- off - Going to brunch with family- Soooo Doing 4 miles after at the pond:clap2:
