    Hungry as a bear 4 years Post-Op

Thanks for sharing! I'm stuck at 205 pound after losing 120 in 19 months. Nothing seems to be taking me under 200. I'm longing for onederland and reaching my goal of 160. I'll give the fasting a try. Where on YouTube did you find your info? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Any More Sixties?

That doesn't seem too slow. Hang in there! It's a journey not a rave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Any More Sixties?

I'm 66, 18 months out, 120 down. 40 to go. Should have done it sooner. It's been a breeze. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Follow your rules! I'm 66, 19 months out and 120 down. 40 left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Plateaus are very common and can last for weeks sometimes. Track every bite. I use SparkPeople.com. Drink your water. Eat your lean protein first and make sure to get at least 60g a day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm 66, 18 months out and 120 down. 40 to go. Took a vacation from tracking and didn't lose anything for 3 months. Back on SparkPeople.com. Goal to get under 200 pounds by months day. Dr told me to aim for 60 grams of daily protein. Sometimes I use premier protein drinks from Costco. Skinless chicken breasts have tons of protein. Greek yogurt too. 7. Check with your Dr after blood work to make sure protein intake over 60g a day is recommended. Too much puts a strain on your kidneys and can cause kidney stones. I was doing 100 and he put me back to 60+- Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Food options

If you ask for help and experienced sleevers take time out of their day to offer it don't get snarky at them for not "being supportive". This is what support looks like. They asked specific questions to ascertain what your idea of a meal plan looks like. Are you logging every bite you take faithfully? I use SparkPeople.com daily and I'm 18 months out and 120 pounds gone at 66. Are you walking? Are you drinking a protein drink like Premier protein from Costco with 30g of protein? How many calories a day are you ingesting? How many grams of protein are you getting daily? Are you drinking all your water daily? What does your Dr recommend? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Before and After Pics

One of the tools that really has helped me was using SparkPeople.com If I write down everything I put in my mouth it keeps me conscious and helps with mindless eating. It is free. I've lost 120 since surgery on 11/18/15. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. After a long self imposed stall, my scale moved this week. I'm down 118 pounds and weigh 205 as of my 66th birthday on Monday . It dawned on me today that my late mother weighed 118 pounds for most of her life. Then my manicurist shared that is what she weighs. It really has hit me that I have lost an entire person. Awe inspiring! I'll let you know when I make it to Onederland. It shouldn't take too much longer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Over 60 and having the sleeve

I'll be 66 next month. Had the sleeve 11/18/15 and have gone from 324 pounds to 210 pounds. I'm amazed at how easy it has been. I'm so happy. I have 50 pounds more to go. I gained a pound over the holidays. Back to basics and tracking again. Happy New Year everybody. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Diet After Surgery

I'm not Mian, LOL but the key to mixing any Protein powder with hot liquids is to mix it with a little bit of warm Water or milk until it dissolves and then mix that into the hot liquid. I've used genepro. I followed the directions. There is a difference between how you add it in depending on whether it's hot or cold. Sometimes I'd put it in the nutribullet to blend well. Just make sure if it's a hot liquid to allow enough space to allow for the heat.
