Depressed please help!
SassyNanny replied to Erica517's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
You look great! That is a look worth fighting for. Hard is a state of mind. You lost a tremendous amount of weight in the last 18 months. It probably became a habit and didn't feel 'hard' most of the time. Tracking and Protein should help. Maybe substitute a meal or two with a premade Protein Drink. Stop drinking any calories other than Protein drinks. liquid calories can sneak up on you. Keep your chin up. You can do this! Your prior success says so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

277.6 It has been a tough challenge. 4 weeks of stalls. I lost 12.4 pounds and that is a step in the right direction. Thanks so much for all the work it took to tabulate this. It was very sweet of you to do this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

SassyNanny replied to marie110's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm hoping that all of you experiencing these issues will get checked out and get imaged or endoscoped. Please let us know what you find out. Didn't imagine any negative consequences that far out. Best of luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I had sleeve surgery on Nov 18 2016 and weighed 324. Today I weighed 281 a loss of 44 lbs in 10 weeks. I'm 65 and have felt like a cloud has been lifted off me. I've had a tough time waking up in the morning my whole life and now I wake up between 8 and 9 no matter my bedtime. No grogginess at all. It happened immediately after surgery. What a great benefit.

Prices and surgeons in European please
SassyNanny replied to robbie&kaitlyn's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
Hi there! I'm in USA. I get my chewable Biotin from costco. Try Amazon if you don't have one. I wasn't allowed Vitamins until the one month point of healing. I'm curious if you are having the surgery without the big incision? Some of the European posts talk about incision drains. I have 5 inch long incision scars on my belly. One is in my belly button. They closed them with surgical glue. I woke up with no stitches, no bloody oozing and no bandages. It was pretty amazing. Best wishes on your surgery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
My blood pressure spiked after surgery. 2 days after I saw my PCP and she gave me a blood pressure patched I used for a month. It kept my BP about 139:80. After a month I've been off all meds and am running 120:80 -135:85. I would think your dr should have reintroduced your meds slowly.

Sounds like you hit a stall. I had a 3 week stall at 6 weeks. Up a pound down a pound. I stuck with it and this week I've lost 6 pounds. It's a normal thing. Search it on here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have an eating disorder
SassyNanny replied to socialworker91's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It would certainly put a halt to binge eating. There is no room in your tummy to allow for it. It certainly turned my thought processes around. I have no desire to overeat or "cheat". Good luck. Btw you can always contact the drug manufacturer to see if they will discount your drug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I had my surgery one week after you. I just came off a 3 week stall and am so excited to be losing again. When you say your weight loss is very slow what do you mean. I'll be 10 weeks out this week and have lost 39.5 pounds. That 3 weeks of not losing definitely had made a difference. Still it is 40 lbs and my clothes are all getting baggy. We all drop weight differently. Does your Dr feel it's a problem? In order to get your protein in try having a 30g Protein Drink for Breakfast. That should ramp up your protein. I put 1/2 of a frozen banana in my chocolate Premier Protein from costco in my nutribullet with 3 ice cubes and I love it. Keep up the good work!!

SassyNanny replied to Adina's_Journey's topic in The Gals' Room
I would tell them it's against my religion to shave my pubis. End of discussion. Idiots! Growing hair back in was one of my worst experiences after childbirth. It itches so badly I thought I would go insane. -
