  1. Every dr has different rules. Mine wasn't worried about calories only Protein and liquids. I was eating 400-550 calories for the first 3 months and at 5 months I'm up to 700-900. I'm always surprised when I hear how many calories everyone is taking in. Whatever works. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Dear JoyfulI bought a seat extender online years ago. I didn't need it all the time but when I did I didn't have to ask I just pulled it out of my purse. I had one for SouthWest and bought another one when I flew a bigger plane. I'm sure you can find them by doing a Google search. Relax. It's going to be okay. You can do this. Go back to basics. Find a therapist who specializes in eating disorders. You will get the extra weight back off.
  3. Not sure how you are able to consume 800-900 calories. For months 0-3 I think I was 400-500 tops.

So it turns out my wife is gay...

Sorry to hear that it is still happening. Mine started decades ago and at that time medications for stress were not very advanced. I would have panic driven episodes that included active dreams of having the oxygen sucked out of the room and breaking out windows with my bare fists to "save us". My estranged husband was living with my little daughter and me at the time. I did it again at a friends house and broken glass fell into their pool. I was so lucky I wasn't hurt either time. My perception of it in retrospect was that what seemed like rational coping at the time was really not healthy. I needed to get mad and wash that man right out my hair. Just saw this and thought it might help: https://www.facebook.com/hayhouse/posts/10154096372258259

How is the sleepwalking? I had that happen while going through a divorce scenario, it was actually night terrors. Was pretty intense for several years. Thank goodness that has stopped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    4 weeks out, stalled

Are you tracking your food intake? In order to know that you aren't inadvertently doing something that is exacerbating the stall I think that tracking everything that goes in your mouth is very important. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Every Dr and insurance Co has a different protocol. They do need to know you are serious and committed. The weight loss is one indicator. I would not worry about it now. There is nothing else you can do before a pending appointment. Tell them in person how hard this has been and see why they say. If you passed the psych evaluation I don't think you will be precluded. Keep your chin up. Post surgery the sleeve helps but you can still mess it up if you don't follow the rules. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. My thought is you are burning up so many calories with exercise and breathing your body has gone into starvation mode. Up your calories with high Protein low carb food, eat more frequently and slow down a bit on your exercise. I think your body is holding on to everything for dear life itself. Cereal & Milk

Wow! Some programs have strict rules. Mine was very slow to introduce food stages. Everyone on the site at my same surgery date was eating real food way before I could. My paperwork says I can have oatmeal but I haven't. It seems like too many carbs for not much reward since the Protein isn't very high 1/2 c dry = 5p 150c. Why wouldn't you be able to have soup when you can have Protein drinks? Weird. I'm not going to eat box cereal because it is usually too processed with too much sugar. I guess it depends on what kind you want and how much you eat. I personally can't see that eating milk on cereal ( or soup) could be problematic for digestion. Just my opinion of course. Protein Goal/Shopping List

I use GENEPRO unflavored Protein powder from Anazon. No flavor at all. It is a very fine powder and usually dissolves well. I put in lots of things. Last night I had SF pudding made with nonfat milk and added the powder to the already set pudding. It didn't blend in all the way but the lumps were just chocolatey bumps like old fashioned cooked pudding could get. No biggie. I use it in my bottled Water with Mio drops. Soup, mashed veggies, spaghetti sauce. I whip it into my raw egg for an omelet. 30g Protein 98 cal a one tablespoon serving. My saving grace for getting my protein numbers up. Best Wishes!
