One day after and my stomach is hurting and bloated. Slept most of the day but its good to walk around so every hour or 2 I go for a walk. Over 24hr after the op and only now am I allowed to drink some water but not much. I brought a hot water bottle with me and its saved me alot of pain. Good luck to the rest of you.

My surgery is today 19/11. Happy day!!!! I'm at the hospital and just waiting to be called. A bit nervous but excited for my new life.

So good to hear. My surgery is tomorrow. Our new health life is on its way!!!!!

Hi My date is the 19th Nov. I'm so excited!!!! A little nervous but trying not to think about it. Just thinking about the day I can go into a regular clothes shop and not feel like the sales assistant is thinking to herself "what the hell is she doing in our shop" "nothing in your size here!" Same as everyone else. Done loads of fad diets. My worst was the HCG diet. Lost lots fast but after 3 months I couldn't continue on 500 calories a day. My hair was falling out and I put all my weight back on and more very soon after I stopped. With the amount of money I've wasted on diets I could have bought a house by now!!!! I really hope my insurance approves my surgery! !!!!

Hi my name is Jo and I live in Israel but original from England. I have 4 kids and I'm 43 years old. Also struggled with my weight from a young age. Kids at elementary school used to call me names. Miss Piggy was a popular one as I had blond hair and a little nose. After years of dieting (mostly failing). I got my gold pin once at weight watchers. I decided wls was my only hope this was 3 yrs ago. But my husband was against it. He was worried it was dangerous and its wasn't going to help my bad eating behaviour. 3 years later and my health has gotten worse due to my weight. After doing some standard blood test my husband realised how important wls was to me. I am now in the process. Done all the test and evaluations with nutritionist,doctor and psychologist. Just waiting for them to decide if I'm cleared for the surgery. It takens them 5 days to decide. Each day feels like a week!!!! I have know idea how long it takes to get a date for surgery after they decide. "They" being the medical staff at my health insurance centre. I found this group about 2 months ago and have found it amazing, full of information, support and great ideas. I look forward to posting my (please G-d) surgery date. Goodnight and Peace to all♡♥♡
