I am seven months post up and have been sick on and off since November. I've had strep throat twice and now currently a sinus infection. I am a high school teacher and I know kids are always sick, but I just can't shake this. Anyone else in the same boat? Any extra vitamin supplements to strengthen my immune system? Thanks!

Any Type 1 Diabetics that are pregnant or have been?
LifeIsGood14 posted a topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
Hello! I need advice. I have been a type 1 diabetic since I was 16 on insulin. Since my gastric sleeve last summer I haven't taken any insulin (crazy right). I'm 8 weeks pregnant and taking long acting insulin at night only to wake up at 48-70 blood sugars. And then having to treat them with sugar (makes me so sick). Anyone have a similar story to share or who takes insulin?!? Thanks! -
Immune System Down?

I too am a teacher. I have had strep throat twice since November and currently I have a sinus infection. I am 7 months post op. My doctor tells me to get protein, stay hydrated and to take my vitamins. It's rough but summer is just around the corner -
A few questions: what was your insulin regime like before surgery and how has your insulin changed since surgery? Thanks!!!!

I am one month post op and I have started taking Centrum multivitamin twice a day as well as Citracal calcium supplement. However, these pills are huge in my small stomach pouch. I was taking two children's chewable and was OK with them. Anyone have any suggestions for adult chewable? Thanks

Need Vitamin Suggestions
LifeIsGood14 replied to LifeIsGood14's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Jands, it says the adult dose for Flinstone Complete (has to be the complete kind) are two a day. That is what I take as per my dietitian. Also it does have the right amount of iron too. I compared it to Centrum for adults and it's basically the same thing just in chewable form. Hope this helps -
Hate chewable multivitamins!

I had a really hard time with vitamins. My dietitian recommended from GNC and it tastes so good for calcium citrate (orange flavor). I also take two chewable flintstone complete multivitamins daily.
