Hi. I'm Peg and I am slowly getting through the preparatory process towards getting the gastric sleeve surgery.
I have been overweight for about half of my life. As I got older, thyroid and other issues contributed to the problem. I am basically just tired of being in pain and being tired all of the time.
I think the thing that I am struggling with the most is that I have failed to lose weight so many times. I wonder if this will really be different. My "head" knows that it will but I don't think that my emotions have quite caught up. I have thought about this for many years and only just now got it together to do it!
I am grateful that I have found this site. I just happened upon it during a search. Hopefully you all will support me and I will be able to support you as well.
