My surgery is August 10th and I am excited and scared all at the same time. I am already doing two protein shakes a day and eating dinner. And go to the gym 4 days a week.

wanted to connect with other august sleeve people so we have someone that is going though the same thing and we can bounce things off of each other plus be our own support team for when we need to talk with some one so we don't go crazy. We are all going to be great this will only make us stronger.

OK so my journey started last July. I went to the same doctors office my best friend went to. Come to find out that United Health care will only let you goto a center of excellence. Orlando Health was the place for that. I got depressed and didn't do anything about it until January. On January 28th I had my first visit for my weigh in. I am so excited to report that I have my last weigh in on June 29th I got my insurance approve four days later and Surgery is scheduled for August 10th 27 days from now. I am nervous and scared all at the same time. I know physically I will be fine I am most scared about the mental part of it. I would love to get a group of people together and create a Facebook page that are August sleeve patients. My best friend did that with her january 2012 sleeve patients. They get together once a learn just to keep up with each other. I think this will help us all.
