Food Serving Size

I have been drinking more and also tried the fruit thing. It has been satisfying my hunger between meals. -

I am so sorry to hear that. I too went through a similar situation. Come to find out they were doing it for my own best interest. I told them that I could make my own decisions and from now on they ask me. I was and still am very emotional. I am two months out, things improve everyday.. Keep in mind that each day things will get better. I would explain to your sister that you don't want to miss this event and if it gets too much you will go home or whatever...................TALK TO YOUR SISTER!!!

Does anyone totally regret this surgery? why?
Scarlet56 replied to Marie Car's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I am only 2 months out. It was a very rough first month. I am now doing so much better!! I have had a problem with food for the past 5 years. I used it as a crutch. A divorce, kids leaving home, ect. I see week after week changes in me, I am looking and most important I am feeling like a million bucks!! Yes, it is worth it!!! -

Food Serving Size

I am at 7 weeks out and eat my three meals a day with one snack. I have been finding the last couple of days that I feel hungry in between meals, I don't know why, I eat enough, stop when I feel that I am getting full, not going to make myself sick. Is anyone else going through this? -

6 weeks out and not losing weight
Scarlet56 replied to Scarlet56's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
James, I am still at a 1/2cup for each meal sometimes less. I don't drink Protein shakes, usually I stay with Water or crystal light. I know I should be happy I have lost what I have.... Cpower, I am noticing that too, I guess I am being impatient, when you see people lose much more it is hard.. -

When could you start to eat solid food
Scarlet56 replied to ashleybrady87's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I started my solid foods at 7 weeks, but meat had to be very tender and you have to ease into it...I did not have the strictures but my daughter did and she started eating solids about 10 weeks out, same thing, go into slowly.. -
ok, so I had my gastric bypass on May 29, 2015. on the day of surgery I weighed 220 s. down from 235 for my pre op diet. since then I have only lost 20 pounds, I am really getting very frustrated since I know people who have lost much more weight by this time...... anybody going through the same thing? I am following my diet to the tee and measure my food......HELP!!!!
