  1. I have been off the site for awhile, but need some advise. I am just over a year from my band to sleeve surgery. I have lost over 100 pounds but have been stalled out for the last 3 months. I am excercising minimum of 5 days a week, drinking all my water, and most days meeting my protein requirements. I was able to start jigging in February and doing yoga this past month. I have decided to take a few days exercise respite here before school starts for my kiddos and get back to it on Monday. I know my body is changing, I can see it in the mirror and in my clothes, but man, I want the scale to show it. Words of wisdom? Hints / tips!! Thanks!!!

You are right, I can do better and will make an apt with my NUT. Thank you for helping to reinforce the basics!!

    Need a little pep talk

Congratulations, it sounds like you have been doing great. When you say you are reaching your protein target most days, that might be someplace where you can do some adjusting. Why not do what you can to reach it every day? For me, it is better to go over by a little bit than to not get in enough. Since you are exercising regularly, you may even need some extra carbs and fats. Have you talked to your NUT lately about your challenges and goals? Your NUT would be much better able to advise you based on your own specific needs. Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall

    Need a little pep talk

Jane I had my band in 2008 and lost some weight but had a ton of "issues". I was very sensitive to adjustments and was spending a lot of time in and out if the doctors office. I didn't have complications per say. I had several years where I did nothing with the band and started gaining all my weight back. When I returned to see my surgeon last year (because of heartburn) I decided to convert to the sleeve. BEST Decision I have ever made!!!

  14. Today was the first day, since before surgery 70 days ago, that I walked a little route in my neighborhood. I have been working out daily in the pool. Anyway, there is a moderate sized hill that prior to surgery and almost 50 pounds heavier, I would need to stop two or three times to catch my breath. Today, I made it the whole way with out stopping!!!! And my heart rate was in the perfect range! I was so excited. Woohoo!!

  16. I had band to sleeve conversion 7/7/15. I had my band for 7 years. Had no problems with the surgery. Had to stay an extra night in the hospital for nausea and vomiting, but was much better after coming home. Stay positive!!

    Glad you got it out!!
  21. I am 52 days post op and generally have not been weighing myself daily, but started weighing myself every couple of days. I am up two pounds. I have been exercising in the pool daily for up to an hour, have been meeting my Protein requirements and fluids. This is so frustrating!

Are you laying flat to remove it? If you still have trouble, you should call the doctors office.
