Hi! My name is Stephanie and I'm a 37 yr old busy working mom and wife. I started my journey in April 2015 because my weight is having a huge bearing on my health and my daily activities. My starting weight is 267 lbs and I'm going for a goal of 150 lbs. my surgery should be some time in August 2015. Easter weekend, I broke my shoulder in a horse accident. I had surgery last week to reattach the tendons that were torn, therefore I've had a little bit of a setback. I'm having the gastric sleeve surgery because I feel like it's the best way for me to go. I've had several failed attempts at losing weight and am ready to have surgery. My husband is supportive but is also my only support on this journey and I hope to meet ppl here to enlarge my support system and to learn from others that are on the same journey.
