    Fatigue....

As everyone else says, just give it time.
  2. Wow, I'd definitely check whether I was being Punk'd! If you can't give up soda or a bag of chips for this life-changing gift, probably not right for you. Good luck to 'em.

    spicy foods?

I'm 11 days, had something spicy for the first time last night -- poured some sriracha into my soup. I was so sick of my soup, so it added a nice flavour. I think I used too much though in my overeagerness haha!

    Which Exercises?

I was told resistance and weight training help tone the skin/muscle, as well as swimming.
  5. Hope you feel better. Did your surgeon not prescribe something when you were discharged for the acid reflux? I was sent home with six months of PPI.
  6. @@baylorbears281 glad to hear it

    Salmon

Sounds like you're in the pureed stage. How about trying some other fish, like tuna which is easier to puree, to curb the craving? Could pre-packaged smoked salmon be easier to puree?

Good luck to you. Don't be nervous! Just think positive. See you on the other side!

    Surgery in 5 hours!

The first couple of nights are a bit difficult. But congratulations on your new sleeve. welcome to the other side!
  13. When you do this, do you feel hunger? Or is it just a response to this stress or head hunger? Because most of us can't feel hunger in the first year or so, I find it just helps to identify it is as head hunger and know that I'm not physically hungry, therefore I don't need to eat. Talking to yourself (in your head) in a positive, rational manner can help I find.

    Surgery tomorrow!

Good luck for tomorrow. Try not to worry and get a good night's rest beforehand. As for what to take with you, your own comfortable clothes/pyjamas would probably make you feel more relaxed (it did me!). The IV, if it's by cannula, it's just a sharp scratch, I wouldn't worry!
  17. @ As a fellow Brit, I thought I'd ask, what are your fave flavours? Want to switch to this because the milkshake-type protein shakes make me feel sick.
  18. I watered down today's protein shake a lot more than usual, and it's been more tolerable. Phew!
  19. I hope it gets better. My pain was fully gone by day five or so. The gas pains are a bitch!

    MY ARMS!

Hope it gets better. The nurse should get in touch with your surgeon, maybe?
  21. Don't be nervous, that will just make it all the more daunting. See how you feel and take each day/problem as it comes. There's so much useful information on this forum (I always find that if I have a question it's already been answered somewhere here!), so just search or ask again if something arises. Best of luck to you.

    July sleevers?

Snap! I start purees on Thursday and have so many ideas in my head, I can't wait!
  23. For me it's about two weeks, so Thursday coming. Some things I've been looking at: pureed refried Beans, pureed chicken with sweet potato mash, flaky fish in a tomato-based sauce (mash it down with your fork), daal, chickpeas (or other pulses) in a curry or a sauce mushed down with fork or pureed, yoghurt, hummus, minced meat in a tomato based sauce, mushy cauliflower/broccoli in cottage cheese baked with a bit of low fat cheese on top.
