I did great right after surgery and then hit a wall. I didn't do what I should have. I looked for every reason to eat the worng things, the wrong amounts and goodness knows there was no time to excersie. I went from down 50 to down 34. I am doing so much better now. WHen is your surgery date?

I'm ok. I am eating everything in sight for some reason. Probably because I am home bound. I used to only eat once a day. This stinks. I'll be off the pain meds tomorrow, so I'll get out and about. You doing good today?

I am soooo sorry. I had to gain from 208 to 230 to qualify. I did it in onlly in a few weeks (Christmas). It wasn't too hard. I know that it seems silly to do. I think Jenny Craig is awesome. If it helps at all, the band is tough. I miss food!!! I am proud of you for your weight loss. That is really great. I am not even close to losing those numbers in a week. Keep trying my friend. -Donita

I am glad you had a good psych eval. My friend had to wait 4 months because the psch wouldn't let her go through. She finally got approved last week. I hope they are wrong with Tricare. My doctor said Tricare go by BMI like everyone else, but Tricare said "no". Good luck. _Donita

I am so sorry. I hope that you don't give up. It took me 7 months remember. When will you know about sleep apnea? I have been home three days and I have lost 11 lbs. in three days. I have lost 25 lbs in 18 days total. How was Vegas? I hope they told you the sad news after your vacation. Please don't let it get to you and always fight for what you want. -Donita

It is aweful. I was on my two week liver shrinking diet...day 8. I had lost 12 lbs. Then my husband came home and I asked him if my jaw looked swollen and he said "yeah". I knew I was in trouble. I ran to the mirror and my jaw was rather HUGE! I went to the dentist and I had an infection in my jaw from a 12 year old root canal that went bad. I had to put off surgery and then have jaw surgery (yesterday). They couldn't save my tooth, so they removed it. I go in Friday t get cleared for Lap Band, but they said it will be Mid August before they can get me in. I can't put my life on hold for that long. I have been putting off getting a job, because I didn't want to take time off with a new employer, but I need to get a job. I hope you and baby girl are well. Is your hubby well too? Sorry to take so long to respond. I have been on vacation until yesterday. The pain has subsided thank you. I have been at the same weight for the last 10 days, but I have gone two pant sizes. I am in a comfortable 16...yeah! I am on my way to the hospital to see a friend of mine that is having gastric bypass today. I hope you are well. It feels good when other people notice your weight loss. We should all throw out the scales until we get where we need to be....but I can't I am addicted. Take care-Donita

I hope you had a wonderful time while you were gone. I spent 10 days in Michigan visiting family. That was a long drive only 8 days after surgery. I did well though. Hope you are losing up a storm. Wow! That is a story with a happy ending. I am being banded May 29th. I will have waited 10 weeks just after the approval. Let alone all of the testing and other stuff that started in Dec. o7. God is great though. I have so many little things that have come up that I might not have felt like doing if I was already banded. Who knows. I am just trying to talk myself out of being depressed that I have to wait so long. I am just glad to be alive today. I was on my way to Best Buy in Colonial Heights, VA. It was raining so hard that I couldn't see to drive on the highway, so I went home instead. At the time that I would have arrived...they were hit by a tornado! God isn't good, He's GREAT! Point of the story. I CAN wait another month...happily. Are you feeling better even just having the 40 lbs off? I think I would feel great just with 20-30 off. I will talk to you tomorrow. Let me know how your fill works for you? Are you eating too much or is it just the wrong foods that has caused you not to lose? Good luck and good night.

It is our new birthday and I'd be happy to have a twin. I have followed your journey and your pictures and you appear to be like me already. The life of the party, even at picture time as long as you can pose behind someone else. I had the cleavage to my neck until 2001. I had a breast reduction and I could breath when I laid down. Well, now I am too fat and still can't breath without the CPAP. SOON TO BE FIXED!!! Congrats again!
