I hope you can get in more calories. You can't think straight on such a restricted amount. I know you are going to be even more beautiful and that you can get any job you want, but retaining some knowledge in class would be helpful. lol I still don't even have a date yet. I am going to try to find a job and give up on this. My husband retires in three weeks from the army and I will need to start earning my keep.lol Take care-Donita

I have had the shoulder pain since I was young when I am constipated. The best thing I have found is a warm compress on my shoulder and if someone could rub it for me. I hope you do well. How many lbs have you lost. I have lost 9 since starting my pre-op diet.

Psych eval for me was a little "test" on paper. Then a session with the psychiatrist. Since my mom is Bi-Polar, I wasn't sure if they would let me pass. I spoke with her and explained why I am fat. I go all day without eating and I grab anything near me when evening comes. Usually fast food and lots of it, because I am starved. So she made me start eating three meal a day and approved me. i hope you got lots of rest. Talk again soon_ Donita

I just read you note to me. I think that if you are not 200% sure, you shouldn't do it. It isn't going to "fix" you. It will "help" you by giving you a tool. Your life will drastically change forever. There are reasons why I would say no. If I hadn't tried EVERYTHING I possibly could before this. If I knew that my will power wasn't the greatest or that I couldn't or wouldn't want to get fills for the rest of my life. Yes, so problems can occur, I am not sure about the metabolism problem, but it is still worth the risk to me compared to I am not losing anything on my own. Good luck. Are you still doing well? I haven't lost a lb still. I have a doctor apt. on the 28th I think. Then I might get another fill a few weeks after that. I just got a job as a server at a place 15 minutes from here. I am excited. I need something to do. I am so tired all of the time, because I am not doing anything. Write if you get a chance. Native of Jackson, MI here. We are stationed in VA. I was just home for 9 days. Returned last night. Boy are you guys all going through a lot. Everything has changed so much...economy, structures and such. I will say though that there is no better place to be banded or to have bypass than in Zoo. They have been in the field for almost as long as I have been alive. How did surgery go? Are you able to keep liquids down? Best wishes and speedy recovery.

I sure hope mine goes with out the gas too, thank you. I am getting banded on the 29th of May. Ten more days. I am on a pre-op diet and am doing well on it. I am not sure if I am losing enough weight on it or not. Did you lose a lot pre-op? Can you sleep sitting in a recliner until your port pain gets better? I bet your shoulder will take longer to heal. I am glad you are thinking about Lapband. I am trying to tell everyone I know how great it has been or me. I haven't been the perfect student though. I should have lost a lot more than I have. oh kid, I love your picture. I can't even tell it is you, except for your mouth. How much have you lost from the one before to this one? AWESOME!!! My hubby and I went out for Veterans Day, Did you guys do anything special? It was so cool to see lots of elderly gentlemen in their uniforms of old. You don't even have a double chin. I had to show my husband and my son your daughters pictures. My son said "hey" when he read my note.lol My babies are 15,17 and 19. I don't want any grandbabies until I am thin and healthy enough to enjoy them. I tried to accept you as a freind, but it didn't let me for some reason, so I will try it in reverse and invite you. You will have to keep pictures of both of you coming so we can watch her grow and you shrink. When is your band date? Mine is May 29th...forever and a day!

You are probably not even able to sleep from excitement huh? 30 hours or so huh? I am so excited for you. I go to the dentist tomorrow and then I call the surgeon's office again. Hey again! I had all but given up on surgery myself after they canceled my date of this Thursday. I find out tomorrow or Thursday my new date. They said it will probably be the end of JULY!!! I am so excited for you. 19 lbs is awesome in only 3 weeks. Are your clothes fitting WAY differently? Keep up the good work. -Donita

I will finally get to be start my life on the fourth of July, just like this great country of ours did. I will be banded on the third. 2 weeks and 3 days. I RESTART the pre-op diet Thursday. Hi and welcome. As you can tell I am an Army wife too. Well, at least until November. We will be retiring after 22 1/2 years. Iam getting banded May 29th. how about you? Tricare was awesome. Any problems for you?

I am not getting banded on Thursday. As of yet not sure that I will be at all. I am going to see if my jaw infection is gone as of tomorrow, but they said it will be the end of July before I could get rescheduled. I am not sure if I want to put my life on hold for that long.
