Wow, how far SDRAWKCAB (backwards) can I go?

I am worth it!!! I just set a new personal record...two days in a row. Yesterday I shaved 9 minutes off of my 10k time and today I shaved 3 minutes off of my 5k time. I have lost 27 lbs since January 2, 2010. I am happy that I didn't give up and my hubby is back running with me. : )
  2. NO FARTHER is the answer. I am not going to keep trying to kill myself with my own stupidity. Just because I lost my running partner (my hubby is working 7 days a week now and won't run), I refuse to continue down the wrong path. There are things I am going to do to amke little changes in my life. For starters: I will take my Thyroid meds. I will wear my CPAP, even though it swells my face beyond recognition. I will read my Bible daily. I will exercise daily...even if it is by myself! I will measure my food. I will get in enough protien. I will take a multi-vitamin. I will log my progress. I will make a daily schedule and stick to it. I am not waiting for the 1st of January! My new life starts tomorrow!!!

Wow. I just noticed that two years ago tomorrow was my FIRST day to be a part of Lapbandtalk.com. I guess it is kind of an anniversary present to myself when I start again in the morning. Not that I am being bad tonight, but not exercising until tomorrow. :Dancing_wub:

  10. Thank you bigpapa. One year down and a lifetime to go. I thought I would like talking to you until I saw the STATE shirt you were sporting...GO BLUE!!! I lived 30 minutes from state for 38 years, but all of my children were born at the U. Nonetheless, you ROCK on your weight loss. Keep up the great work!!!

  11. Thank you. A year down and a lifetime to go. Only 10 lbs left to go...you ROCK!!! Keep up the great work.

    Almost perfection

I am so excited. We did our 10k today and it only took 82 minutes. I know to some people that can run fast, that is a slow time, but for me it is awesome. The first thing I can do to improve my time is not walk at all. I walk for a little bit every mile or so. I also could improve the time if the stop lights would work with me.

  15. I did great right after surgery and then hit a wall. I didn't do what I should have. I looked for every reason to eat the worng things, the wrong amounts and goodness knows there was no time to excersie. I went from down 50 to down 34. I am doing so much better now. WHen is your surgery date?

  16. Well, it is really working for you. Keep up the good work.
