10 LBS. is awesome. You will need VANITY lights now. lol. I am 90 percent settled. I am STUCK. I haven't lost a lb. since our anniversary on the 13th of September. I still am shrinking, becasue I can fit into a size 12 with a muffin top.lol Now when I see your picture up here and you are smiling I feel it is real. Keep up the great work. -Donita

I am soooo sorry. I had to gain from 208 to 230 to qualify. I did it in onlly in a few weeks (Christmas). It wasn't too hard. I know that it seems silly to do. I think Jenny Craig is awesome. If it helps at all, the band is tough. I miss food!!! I am proud of you for your weight loss. That is really great. I am not even close to losing those numbers in a week. Keep trying my friend. -Donita

The day I met my surgeon. The day I started my pre-op diet (again) 229 lbs. 3 lbs from not being able to have the surgery.

I had to have an unfill back about a month ago (6 weeks after surgery). I just received my fill today (only 4.5). I look around and see others losing so much that I can understand how you guys can get disappointed. I hope you just remember that you are making progress, ESPECIALLY when others are noticing it. Keep up the good work.

I have lived in the stone ages...no computer. We closed on our house on the 15th and you on the 22nd. Too cool. Are you still pending? I am down 42 lbs. I had my first fill today. I was unfilled August 12th or so, and then my referral ran out and I couldn't get it until today. It stung less than a bee sting. The Barium was kind of gross. It only took like 1-2 minutes. The problem was when they put the saline in, i was too tight and then I was too lose when she adjusted it. I am still too loose, but for now it is better than zero like I was. Your new house it awesome. What is the structure to the right? Did you build a garage? I am so excited for you. Ours looks really tiny, but it has 4 bedrooms, 1 and a half baths, dining room, living room and family room. The best part of it is we got it for $31,000 less than we sold it for 3 years ago like I said. You never said if you were at least a BMI of 35 or not? Do you have ANY co-morbidities? Thank you for your comments on my blog. I wish I felt better, but maybe in the morning when I get to my appoinment she can tell what I did wrong and if it is going to heal itself. Are you noticing more restriction now?

I am 5 weeks post-op and was feeling really good. I have lost 35 lbs and hadn't even been filled yet. I am still exercising and thought I was eating ok. Well, not according to my D.H.. He said I have been eating too much, and too fast. Yesterday it became a proven fact. I bought my son a coke while we were out shopping for school clothes and it looked so inviting I took a real small quick sip. Later we stopped for lunch. I was eating a bean burrito and talking with my son (15 yrs. old) while at Taco Bell, and with his great wisdom he said "Mom, aren't you eating too fast"? Sadly, I was on my next to last bite and he was only half way done with his taco. I said "yeah probably" (it had never made a difference before). I took a drink of lemonaid thinking I had better get some liquid in to try to help it down. Then IT happened. I raced to the restroom and out of my mouth and nose (AT THE SAME TIME :frown:...first time I've ever experienced that) came the lemonaid. I never vomited any of the burrito. For 4-5 hours I had a stomach ache and it has awaked me at 5 am. starting all over. Have I caused damage to my band? I stayed with mashed potatoes last night, but even those kind of hurt. They went down though. I am probably fine. I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday. I should know more then. Until then I am slowing down and watching my portions better. God Bless!
