I'm postop 10 weeks and down 70 pounds total since starting the program and 30 since surgery. I weighed myself today and I didn't move since last week. I know I've heard of the dreaded stall but is there a way around it/over it?

So tomorrow is my three month mark and I'm down a little over 30 pounds. We went grocery shopping tonight and I looked for new ideas and wanted to check to see what others do and if what I do is good:). I purchased some to go tuna packets, turkey meatballs with wild rice, deli fresh turkey meat, string cheese, thin sliced deli cheese-45 Cals, cottage cheese, 100 cal Greek yogurt, cucumbers and salad stuff...I bought light Italian dressing as I wasn't sure what to put on my salad. A typical day for me is a protein shake for breakfast, deli turkey, cheese and mustard with maybe a few veggies for lunch, string cheese after work/before dinner, meat with veggies for dinner and sometimes i do some yogurt with almonds or cottage cheese for night time snack-is this a normal routine? Thanks for the advice:)

Do you have your gallbladder? Sounds like a symptom of gallstones -
Is coffee okay? I'm on the regular diet 6 weeks postop. I haven't wanted any for the last 6 months until today-crazy!

So I wanted to check in with you all and see what you think of my eating today-I am discouraged by my snack and I couldn't figure out why I was so hungry but I did work out extra hard tonight... Breakfast-protein shake Lunch-4-5 bites of lemon pepper fish Snack-string cheese Dinner-tuna melt minus the bread Snack-small piece of leftover pizza Does this sound ok? I am 5 weeks out. I went for a 2 mile walk, did a Jillian Michaels workout and did my PT toning exercises tonight

I just passed my month postop today and I had a struggle with eating for pleasure vs substinence today. It's that girl time and I think that on top of sleeping in and missing breakfast I was "hungry" when we stopped to get the kids a snack of cheese bread at the fair and I had a piece. I should know it's not going to break me but I feel ashamed. I had today for lunch two pieces of thin sliced turkey deli meat with a slice of tomato and mozzarella and for dinner we had homemade pizza which I ate the toppings only-I should be okay right?

I went for a 6.5 mile walk today and went to PT and did arms and legs strengthening exercises. I am post op 4 weeks tomorrow. I try and walk 3 miles a day and some sort of core/toning-the long walk today was a lot and I feel it tonight!

Going back to work

My first day was great! I was sure tired and felt more hungry than usual but I'm constantly on my feet. I had a protein shake for breakfast and has some soup for lunch. Then for dinner I had some squash with protein powder and a couple bites of this dish my husband made. I had 1/2 a protein shake before dinner:) -

I'm going back to work tomorrow. I'm postop 3 weeks and on puréed. Do you think it's ok if I have a 8 oz protein shake for breakfast and lunch for simplicity reasonings of not having to find/pack foods for a 30 min break?

I still worry about overeating and stress about gaining weight back already:(. This process has been good, but causes me to stress about weight a lot. Does anyone else have this? I'm sure I'm not even close to calorie today but the thought of not being able to measure or calorie count freaks me out!

They only had chicken but it was shredded so that was good-I think I ate mostly broth and a few bites of the others and one bite of sweet and sour chicken for taste:). I'm down 16 pounds since surgery on July 10th and 55 total since starting the process! I guess I must be doing something right??!! ????

They have Pho soup today-chicken, broth and noodles

So my mother in law does not understand I'm on a diet:/. She got the whole family together tonight and made reservations at a Vietnamese restaurant. I'm on soft foods-can I eat like a chicken and vegetable dish??
