That's about all I am able to eat at 6 weeks out. It amazes me! lol

Hi friends! Yesterday was my 4 week post-op. Things are going well. I have been able to tolerate soft foods and am beginning to add "regular" goods a little at a time. The only issue I have is the one that most of you have talked about.......constipation. It is a struggle to get in the 80 grams of Protein and 64 ounces of Fluid, but I will continue to strive to make it!

Thanks for the advice, guys. I find that my tastes are changing and am not able to tolerate protein drinks like I once was. I have been using Unjury, but have also tried Premier Protein. -

I slept one night in my recliner, but then slept fine in the bed. I propped some pillows around myself. I was lucky that my incisions did not cause me any pain. -

How long to walk?

Karl, I am now 4 weeks out and just now able to walk about 30 minutes. Take it easy. I had very little energy the first two weeks and just walked in my house; however, I live in Texas where the lows have been in the 80s and the highs have been 100-101. That was another good reason to walk in the house! lol -
So EXCITED I just ate my first two soft boiled eggs

I felt the same way in the days leading up to my surgery. I was elated, yet terrified. I knew I was making the right decision and am so happy I went through with it. I will say a prayer for you. You can do it! -
