I am on Day 3 of my liquid diet. The first day was the worst. Today, it is actually not bad. I haven't run over anyone with my car and I have not stripped off my clothes and run through the neighborhood naked. I take that has a good sign! lol Surgery in 5 days. I am so ready. I am sure I will be nervous that morning, but today, I am surprisingly calm.

Hello! I just had my preop today. I think each hospital or surgeon has different procedures. I had a chest x-ray, blood work, met with the nurse to go over procedures to follow the day before and morning of surgery, and of course, had to pay my portion. Hello! I just had my preop today. That is great news, Dub! I hope those injections give you some relief. I had my last preop meeting with my surgeon today. July 27 is coming quickly. As my college students say, " Shit just got real" LOL

Karl, I totally understand. When I told my mother, she immediately said, " You don't need that!". I assured her that I did for my health. I am an only child and told her I would like to be around to care for her as she gets older. My significant other is on board, but very hesitant.
