Each and every time I look in the mirror, I feel as though the person staring back can’t possibly be me.

I honestly can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t have a weight problem.

I was teased endlessly when I was younger, and as a result, I developed a social anxiety disorder.

My panic attacks became so severe that I was required to be home schooled for two years and at one point, I was hospitalized for thirteen days.

During those thirteen days, I was inspired by the compassion and unconditional love of the nurses that took care of me and realized exactly what my purpose was in life.

I’m here to make a lifestyle change. I’m determined to be the happiest, healthiest, most confident me that I have ever been.
