On February 7, 2008, I underwent a laproscopic banding, and it - and to much larger extent the incompetent doctor who installed it - failed me. In the 8 years, I gained roughly 20 pounds.
In August 2016 I began down the variations surgery path a second time, concluding with a Boxing Day duodenal switch and hiatal hernia repair.
