I had lapband to sleeve surgery the same day,Dec 14th. I wish you the best. Don't feel like you don't belong. I am sure their is someone else with same story as yours. My band did not slip but I was constantly having problems and having to get adjustments.

I am scheduled for December 14th with Dr.Altimarino. I am looking forward to living a healthier life. I am a nurse and I have yet to find a doctor that will take the time to have a conversation on the phone with a potential patient. During my research I found videos on YouTube where he talks about obesity. To me he has a passion for helping patients live a healthy and active life style. I am working to lower my BMI and anytime I need him I just message him on Facebook. He responds rather quickly unless he is tied up with surgery. My best friend had surgery back in August and has done well. She is already down 60 pounds. I wish you the best in your search. You could definitely schedule surgery with your wife and the both of you share the journey together. Also you stay 2 days in hospital and 2 days at recovery house,which is included in the price. We have a really supportive group on FB. -

I am going to Mexico. I used money in my FSA (medical) and took the rest I saved up.Surgery is paid and flight is booked. I am just waiting for my date.

Need letter from Primary Care doctor, and I don't have one

If you have went to OB GYN and discussed weight they can not deny you your medical records. I am sure they weighed you. It would be easier for them to write a letter indicating your weight than to copy all of your records. Also have you been to a orthopedic doctor? They can weigh heavily on the approval also especially if you have joint pain.
