How does one handle disappointment when one can't have something deep fried?

After surgery, I just cannot stomach anything deep fried. It doesn't disappoint me at all, it really makes me happy because all that deep fried crap put me here.

Deep fried foods are not an issue for me, so I can only suggest what I've witnessed: Tantrums or leaps from the Brooklyn Bridge. Maybe early to bed?
