I'm a week into the pre-op liquid diet and caught a cold from my husband. This is going to delay surgery by a couple weeks. Bummed, but best to be on the safe side.

Next time you even THINK he is getting sick, throw some dirt on him, call his mother to come take care of him! Really, everything happens for a reason. Think of something to do on the day you were supposed to have surgery--something that when you get to be 95yrs old, just remembering the day will make you blush!!!
