    Bummed out

I am a slow loser also ...... On average I only loose 2 lbs per week. I have to be honest I totally thought I was gettin the 60-80 grams of Protein and when I really started to keep better track I wasn't. Also I stopped taking my chewable Vitamins bc they no lie made me get sick everytime. Once I got new non-chewable vitamins and watched my protein and Water content the scale started to move. I know they say to stay off the scale but I do get on every morning on e a day. Also my nut has me doing weight training at the gym help burn calories after your finished unlike cardio
  2. I am 2 months out on 12/15 as of today I am 28 lbs down. I have been loosing about 2 lbs a week roughly l.
  3. What's your preference on unflavored Protein. I had unjury and like it went to the Vitamin shoppe and bought Isopure Just wondering on what ppl like that Doesn't have to be shipped .......
  4. I also use unjury protein . I try and make mine then put them in the fridge to settle
  5. So I wondering a few things. I read all these posts of weight loss and it seems most of you have lost over 20 lbs in the first month or so. I am just about 3 weeks out this Thursday will be 3 weeks I have only lost 9 lbs. I have not been back to the gym but I have been walking My sleeve isn't giving me any trouble at all as of yet. Protein Water soft foods all going down with no issues. I have no restrictions as of my last dr apt. Seems like most of you lost 50-80 lbs in the first 5 months? Nervous I'm not doing something right

    Exercise

Were you sore from the walking I am one week out. I walked 2 miles yesterday and my body was sore today I honestly thought it was from all the laying around so I went out and did another 2 miles today and I am even more sore. I was walking 3 miles everyday up till my surgery so I'm not so sure why it's so hard now

  12. I would bring the least amount of stuff as possible. I brought my phone and an extension cord. I brought a blanket from home and the most important thing was biotine mouth spray this was a huge life savor You can't really wear a robe with the iv an they give u those socks to wear. I wore sweats and a t there and u wore the same thing home ....... Best of luck
  13. I am day 3. I didn't have any gas pain at all I was however very nauseous every time I got up and down. That lasted 2 days. I am really struggling with getting the fluids in. I just emailed my but bc I was freaking out that I would get dehydrated. It is a job. It takes me 10-15 min to drink one ounce . If I take 2 big of a sip I have to get up and move around b it totally feels like it is gonna come right back up. I also didn't start my vitamins as of yet. When I take the other pills that I was discharged with they take me forever to get them down big pills with little sips one pill fills me up. My nut says that I can wait a week or so to start the vitamins and that as I heal the 68 oz will be easier ( I know she's right but right now I'm like omg) she said as long as I sip sip sip and get over 40 oz I should be ok and all this is very normal. I have to say my surgery went well and I was up and walking with no issues

    Day 3

So it's day 3 and I am trying to drink all my once ounce cups........ Am I the only one who feels overly full. How do we sip all this down ?? They said we should be walking but honestly my sipping schedule goes from 7 am - 11 pm and I still don't know how I'm getting all this down. It takes me 10 min to drink one ounce.
  15. I have started my venture on the losers bench. Check in was 7:30 am and surgery was scheduled for 9:30. It got pushed a few hours. I got to recovery around 4:30 ......... I did have pain about a 7 out of 10 but the nausea was at like a 20 it was terrible. The nurses took such good care of me they kept giving me different nausea drugs untill we got it all sorted out If you bring 1 thing other than your person it should be BIOTENE MOUTH SPRAY. It wets your mouth and gets all the funky tastes out etc. I can not urge you more the get the $6 spray My lower back is what hurt me the most when I got into my room. Other than that things have been bearable. The nurse let me Stand in the room to stretch my back and so I could go pee. When I got comfortable they gave me some pain and nausea meds and it knocked me out till about 7. I got up and did about 6 laps around the unit. The nurses were so encouraging telling how much better I looked etc Surgery weight 224.2 Height 5'2 So fats life is good ........ I would however pay a lot o money for a huge glass of ice cold Water
