:frown:i got banded june 07, went from 302 to 218 - 224. cannot lose any more. it has been a year and have maintained at 218-224. i have a 10 cc and and i have probably had 10 fills, keep telling doc i want to feel like i did at the beginning. he just tells me the same thing. do not drink liquid with meals, eat the protein first, exercise, blah,blah, blah. he is not me he is slim he is a man, he is he is he is. i am at the conclusion that i will be fat for ever. do not get me wrong praise God i have got down this far, but dammit everyone else i know (4 ladies), all have won the battle with ease. not me, i am being punished. i know i am. i will puke if i eat too fast, or not chew good enough, but i can still eat a pretty good bit. i do want to be skinny so bad, always have, it is my hearts desire. just once i want to be like everyone else. not the tallest, not the biggest, not the comments of to be a big woman you are so pretty. please just shut up. i chose this to help me take the control away. but apparently my control is winning. sorry but just wondering if anyone else really feels like me. i have started hibernating myself, not wanting no one to see me, because they all say yea you lost some weight but have you seen so and so, and so and so. does these people not realize how they are making me feel. it makes me feel like a FAILURE, A DARN FAILURE. This is it i am a failure. the weight has won. i do not know how to conquer this demon called FOOD, i do not know how to win.

:confused:Hi I'm Donna from Georgia. June 5, 2007 was my 1 year. Lost from 292 to 218. Been at 222-218 since Feb. of this year. Had a fill, got restricted to the point where I could only eat soft food. Had .5 taken out. Now I can eat most anything. I need help to get my brain (mental), to work with me. I am going in Mon. July 7 for follow up. The doc says this is just a helping tool, blah blah blah. I know this. I am not stupid. I just want to say get in my head and explain this. I have considered hypnotsis (really). Any suggestions on what to do to get myself back on track. This started last oct. I have only lost 10 lbs since then. Should I get a big fill. Remember how it felt right after surgery? I want this feeling again. It was wonderful. Eat a little and be full for hours. Not now. What changed. How do I get that feeling again.

what is a defill. and what is the purpose of it. i have wondered if i should get all my fill taken out and start over.

I have a 10 cc band and i am up to 8 cc. I wish i had more restriction like at the beginning. I pb 2-3 times a week. My fault, Not chewing good enough or eating too fast or eating too early. I have to admit I want desperately to have the sweet spot everyone talks about. I got banded 6/5/07. Have not lost 1 lb since dec 07. had another 1/2 cc in jan 08 still no weight loss. I hate to admit it but I am going back next monday for another fill. Honestly, I do not care if I cannot eat, I do not care if I PB daily. I hardly eat now as it is and not even 1 lb since dec. NO WAY. I am going to suck it up and get out of this plateau.

:confused:I have not lost any weight since last october 07. Was banded 6/5/07. Loss up thru oct. is 63 lbs. really not eating no different than before october. I had another fill in jan 08. Still maintaining at 228-231. any suggestions. i am up to 8.5 cc on my fill. my doctor says i have up to 10. am i going to be one of those unsuccessful people that is forever going to be fat.

I am from Dahlonega, Ga. I had lapband June 5, 2007. Lost 57 lbs up to October. Have hit a big plato, and have not lost a lb. since. I have exercise and I guess this is one of my biggest problems. I am going to get another fill in January. The only problems I have had with my surgery is not chewing my food good enough and having to upchuck what gets stuck.
